At SL Power Electronics, we take great pride in our extensive history of being at the forefront of the power conversion industry for over 60 years. Although the name SL Power Electronics has only been around since 2006, there is a lot more history that defines the organization.
In 2006, two powerhouses in the power conversion space merged together, ushering in a new entity that forever changed the industry. Ault and Condor fused together to form SL Power Electronics. Ault had been an industry leader in the design and manufacture of rugged external power supplies that offered exceptional performance. On the other end of the spectrum, Condor dominated the internal power supply market, developing highly differentiated and industry-leading products. Resulting from this merger, was an organization infused with core competencies in both internal and external power conversion. This gave way to the adage – SL Power Electronics Knows Power Inside and Out.
